0 Post (s) Re: Adblue consumption? – 07-06-2016, 09:16 PM. I've read that consumption is around 1.5lt per 650mls so if your tank was full initially you will get to around 10,000mls. Bearing in mind you get a warning around 1,500mls to empty I'd be topping up now 👍. When it's gone it's gone.

This was never mentioned when I was discussing the car with the Mercedes sales team.

The engine will still run but it won't restart since it's no longer meeting emissions. The first warning is 1,500 miles before it runs out. Refilling the Adblue can be done by the owner and Adblue fluid or generic diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) can be found at any truck stop or BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi, or Porsche dealer. There is no Adblue fluid gauge.

Adblue was topped up by my dealer for the cost of the Adblue and no more at 7.3 k with 1 to 1.5k miles remaining. 10 litres were added and the indicator returned to 8.5k which is not out of line with a tank capacity of 13 litres. Adblue consumption is dependent to some degree on driving style and the conditions in which the car is used and Hi if you have access to VCDS you can do a reset on the tank level and see if that cures it, also on the advanced measuring values you can check the realtime current volume of the tank also where did you come by the 15 litre figure as when the refill light comes on they only recommend a 10 litre top up which is about right as I refilled mine today with 10 litres and the realtime level was 100%
