Another cool idea is the 35mm f/2, that gives us an APS-C 24mm f/1.4 IS! But that's not a small combo, but still lots more functionality for a video shootse vs the non stabilized f2 native prime. Shallower DOF and not using the resolution wrecking Warp Stabilizer. I wonder how well an 85mm f/1.4 IS L would work as an APS-C 50mm f0.95 IS prime! Unlike its cousins (Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM (APS-C) and EF 40mm f/2.8 STM (Full Format)), it sticks to the field of view of a classic "35mm" lens (22mm * 1.6x) so it's still wide enough for many applications - especially street photography.
