I play no builds but builds is the more popular game mode by quite a bit. If you look Fortnite added a player count for everything. Build mode consistently has 2x more players, about 300,000 to 130,000-180,000 players, Build is the favorite. Yeah, build is for sure the more popular game mode. Just my opinion.
Yup, PC controller is just a joke. True, though it's a reasonable assumption since no one in their right mind would play a PC shooter with a controller and it's unreasonable to put console and PC players in the same lobby in a shooter. Realistically it's a scenario that shouldn't exist. It's bizarre all around.
My Fortnite sensitivity is double my Apex/CSGO sensitivity. This allows me to build faster and turn quicker with shotguns. I find that the benefits I get on building/shotguns is worth the loss of long-distance aim. I suggest that if your trying to find a good sensitivity just go to creative and play some build fights in different settings.
So if you hit your mouse on accident while using controller on PC (may work on console with keyboard and mouse attached) turbo build will stop working and it will stop registering that you are using a controller and will show keyboard binds in your HUD. Just wanted to give this some attention as it happens to me if i accidentally hit my mouse
Even the best builder of my crew can't come close to that speed on a controller and it just feels unfair. Personally, I also prefer zero build because it makes the environment matter. Build is just everyone all the time in a killbox edit toggling windows. No one hides in a bush, or dumpster or port-o-potty or behind a tree or under stairs.
